Whether that's a good thing or not remains to be seen... Your little buddy in the popular open-world RPG FPS game Boarderlands fulfills a variety of rolls throughout the story. His most important being the "comic relief". He's absurd, pathetic, and selfish starting off lightly. And if you look-up "claptrap" in the dictionary you'll see he has been named aptly.
