The Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing Starfighter (V-wing) is the precursor to the TIE fighter in many ways. Joining the Galactic Republic at the end of the clone wars, this nimble fighter fought in the battle of Coruscant and served as escorts to Emperor Palpatine. This original twin ion engine starfighter was eventually replaced by the TIE-class ships due to costs and other factors.
This model features a cockpit with space for a minifigure pilot, folding s-foils, and landing gear.
